Rose Petal Jelly is a beautifully light, sweet, fragrant jelly made from organic roses -- no chemical florist roses will do -- hand gathered at night when the scent is at its most powerful and intoxicating. The rose petals are cooked with sugar, rose water, lemon juice, and liquid pectin and then chilled. Rose petal jelly has been enjoyed worldwide for centuries from Persian cooks to English High Tea with Devonshire cream in the 1700’s. Ukrainian cooks make a rose petal jelly for filling donuts.
